Finally! A grant
writing workshop created for educators by educators!
|
| |
| |
|
Day 1 |
We'll tell you what kinds of
grants are available, where you can find them, and begin working
on the basic components that all grant proposals have in common.
You'll begin to build a usable proposal under the expert
guidance of Grant Team Associates. During Day 1, you'll develop
your needs statement, project objectives, and project design.
The small workshop size ensures that you'll receive the
personalized attention you need and deserve as you embark on
your grant seeking journey. |
| |
|
|
Day 2 |
You'll learn what you need to do
to develop effective project evaluations, a key component of
every proposal, but one that confuses and intimidates many new
grant seekers. Finally, you'll learn how to create project
budgets that are realistic, specific, and connected to your
project. |
| |
|
|
|
| |
Throughout both days of the
intensive Going for the Gold! workshop, you will have the
opportunity to participate in activities that will reinforce the
concepts you are learning. You'll act as a grant reviewer and
collaborate with other new grant seekers. And all along the way,
we at Grant Team Associates will be right there beside you,
answering questions and guiding you through each activity. The
fear and intimidation new grant seekers often experience will be
replaced with confidence and knowledge by the time you leave the
workshop! |
| |
|
| |
|
Special
Opportunity! |
Hear hints and tips directly from
foundation officers! Each day, a foundation officer will share
their insight with you - helping you gain an understanding of
what happens to your proposal when it arrives at the funder's
office. How can you help make your proposal more competitive?
What pitfalls should you always avoid? Learn the answers during
this special time of our workshops. This is the favorite part of
the entire experience for some participants and is an experience
that you won't find available at most grant seeking workshops. |
| |
|
For One Year |
You will have the opportunity to
join a community of grant seekers where successes are shared,
challenges are discussed, and questions are answered. Throughout
the year, we'll share new resources we find that will help make
you a better grant writer or grant manager. Participating in
this professional learning community with your colleagues from
around the nation will provide far more benefit than the cost of
the workshop. |
